“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.”

Shopping and saturdays

Good Morning! I hope you have a wonderful, blessed day.

I am focusing today on releasing my hurt. You know how when your hurting you have less patience? Well, I am hurting and lashing out. I recognize my behavior and I am going to set my mind to releasing my hurt and fear. Let it go. Inhale. Exhale. Breath.

I forgive myself for letting my emotions run away with me. Today, I will let myself be human and make a couple mistake. Learn from them and move on.

Shedding the skin of yesterday and all its sorrows. Retaining the lessons and move on to tomorrow

What does your ideal day look like?

The ideal day never comes. Today is ideal for him who makes it.

That perfect day, that magic moment that we’re all waiting for, is right now

Everyday we wait for things to be perfect, will for sure be a loss. Perfection is not attained by circumstance but in acceptance.

That is my wisdom on the subject. However, I do prefer that day where I can drink coffee and blog in relative lonesomeness, to get my thoughts together and organized without the pressure of also cooking and taking care of the kids, spouse or animals! I like to be alone, to get things done around the house. If he is home, I’m endlessly distracted by him lol!

The Secret

By Exclusion

“Never hide things from hardcore thinkers. They get more aggravated, more provoked by confusion than the most painful truths.”
― Criss Jami

“The more you leave out, the more you highlight what you leave in.”

Liar Quotes

  • The trust of the innocent is the liar’s most useful tool. …
  • The only thing worse than a liar is a liar that’s also a hypocrite! …
  • No man has a good enough memory to be a successful liar.
  • The poet is a liar who always speaks the truth. …
  • A liar will not be believed, even when he speaks the truth.
“There is a voice that doesn’t use words. Listen.”

I have to confess that I tend to be overly suspicious. I’ve been through it, liars that is, before. However, I am learning that “gut” can also be a tad on over drive. I have learned to breath, be still and I release the power of love to bring me the truth in action rather than the “truth” I pull from my past inventory of pain and heart ache.

Forgiveness is important in families, especially when there are so many secrets that need to be healed – for the most part, every family’s got them.

There is no love without forgiveness, and there is no forgiveness without love.

I choose to forgive myself and the people that have lied to me. I am no better than anyone, everyone should be forgiven, myself and you. I am sorry I have let things from my past and our past to linger in the present and influence my behavior and attitude. Here’s to another day!

Magic is believing in yourself; if you can do that, you can make anything happen

– Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

be you and love yourself
afterbella75

I love this quote because when you do believe in yourself, you accomplish it! I am worthy of success! I am loved! I am not alone, and it’s not too late! Beautiful things are coming to me, beautiful moments. I am exactly where I am supposed to be and I am on my way!

Describe yourself as a tree

If I Were A Tree

The willow is my favorite tree. I grew up near one. It’s the most flexible tree in nature and nothing can break it – no wind, no elements, it can bend and withstand anything

~Pink

I would say a willow and I think Pink says it really well. The strength and resolve of the Willow to survive by bending describes me well enough. Willow has extremely strong and well developed root. It is often larger than the stem. There is more to me than you see, just like the tree. Raindrops that are falling to the ground from the drooping branches of willow resemble tears. That is how weeping willow got its name. I tend to be emotional and cry a lot! Willow’s ability to absorb shock without splintering is why it is still to make cricket bats and stumps. The bark is fibrous and pliable – ideal for making rope. Willow is well-known for its use in making wicker. An overall useful and resourceful tree and I think I am pretty much that as well!!

How are you changing the world?

“Children are the living messages we send to a time we will not see.”

Neil Postman

I change the world with raising honest, compassionate, hard working, ethical and loving children into the world as grown men and woman who are honest, compassionate, hard working, ethical and have hearts that love.

My greatest accomplishment are my children. I have watched them grow into mature adults with great pride.
